Mission Statement

At CREATE Youth Ensemble, our mission is to empower and inspire school-aged youth through the transformative power of music. We provide a free, nurturing, and inclusive environment where young individuals can develop their vocal talents, explore their creativity, and build a strong sense of community. Through personalized coaching, group lessons, and performance opportunities, we aim to foster personal growth, cultural exchange, and musical excellence.

Goals

-Musical Excellence: Offer high-quality music education, including voice coaching, music theory, and composition, to help students achieve their full musical potential.

-Personal Growth: Encourage self-confidence, leadership, and personal responsibility in a supportive and creative environment.

-Community Engagement: Promote active participation in community events and outreach programs, spreading joy and inspiration through music.

-Cultural Exchange: Provide opportunities for students to engage with diverse cultures, enhancing their global awareness and appreciation of different musical traditions.

-College and Career Readiness: Support students in preparing for college auditions, scholarships, and careers in music with dedicated mentorship and resources.

-Inclusivity and Accessibility: Ensure the program is accessible to all youth by providing free participation and support for those facing financial or social barriers.

-Sustainable Growth: Build a strong foundation through community partnerships, fundraising, and ongoing support to ensure the program’s long-term success.

What We Offer

- One-on-One Voice Coaching: Tailored vocal instruction to enhance individual skills and performance techniques.

- Group Music Lessons: Engaging sessions covering music theory, harmonizing, and songwriting.- 

- Creative Workshops: Opportunities for students to write and compose their own music, encouraging creativity and self-expression.

- Travel and Performances: Regular tours, concerts, and cultural exchange opportunities, promoting community engagement and global understanding.

- College and Career Readiness Support: Workshops and mentorship on college applications, auditions, and music career pathways.

- Cultural Exchange Programs: Organized trips and exchanges with other youth music programs to broaden students’ horizons.

Practice Schedule

- Mondays at 5:30 PM

Additional Information

- Free Program: All activities and resources are provided at no cost to participants.

- Auditions: Open to all school-aged students. Auditions are held periodically.
