CREATE JAMM Program

Jobs through Arts, Media, & Music is a “project-based” apprenticeship program that provides youth with arts-based multi-media training using new technologies.

Project Title: Jobs through Art, Media, and Music (JAMM)

We are excited to introduce our upcoming program, set to launch in the fall of 2024, known as Jobs through Art, Media, and Music (JAMM). JAMM has a central mission of addressing the significant unemployment challenges stemming from a skills gap in our region. This transformative initiative offers a free out-of-school apprenticeship program tailored to empower underserved pre-teens and teens with access to cutting-edge technologies.

JAMM is designed to engage and educate underserved youth, fostering their interest and proficiency in digital learning while honing their artistic talents. By doing so, we aim to equip them with the skills necessary for future educational and career success. The program leverages state-of-the-art technology, including computers, digital cameras, video equipment, and professional software, to explore diverse areas such as digital photography, audio & video production, graphic/website design, and mobile and game app development.

Upon completing the two-year JAMM program, students will embark on a capstone experience, allowing them to apply their newfound skills in real-world scenarios. These capstone experiences are made possible through collaborations with our esteemed corporate sponsors.

Program Focus Area: Arts & Culture

Target Population: At-Risk Youth & Economically Disadvantaged

JAMM is more than a program; it's a pathway to empowerment and a bridge to a brighter future for the young individuals we serve. Together, we're forging a path toward success, one skill at a time.
