JAMM Program

The new upcoming program, scheduled to begin in fall 2022, is called Jobs through Art, Media, and Music (JAMM). JAMM’s goal is to aid in the considerably high percentage of unemployment due to a skills gap in the region. JAMM is a free out-of-school apprenticeship program that provides underserved pre-teens and teens with access to new technologies.

JAMM helps the underserved youth become interested and fluent in digital learning while developing skills in the arts to help better prepare them for future education and career success. JAMM will help youth build tech skills by utilizing cutting-edge technology such as computers, digital cameras, video cameras, and professional software in a wide range of areas, including digital photography, audio & video production, graphic/website design, and mobile and game app development. After completing the two-year program, students will complete a capstone experience that will allow them to integrate their skills in the field.
